My younger brother has this ASUS X540A-XX596D which was purchased about 2-3 year back on this Birthday with core i3 with 5th Generation, 4 GB ram and 1024 GB hardisk about 16 inches screen and DVD drive. It is slim notebook, but, very mcu heavy one and battery back up is very low and not more than 3-4 hrs. It is userfriendly because of Windows 10 has been installled in it. But, I it get hanged on time to time, chrome braweser get hanged on time. Due to which we could not reply on its performance and we are not satisfied its performance.
In total it was not value for money, because, while charging it get heat up due to which we had contacted to its service centre and they did not resolved this issue.
