It?s my first review on the net and I will try my level best to explain my views on this topic.
ASTITVA- EK PREM KAHANI
It is a daily soap comes on Zee TV at 9pm on week days. Main characters of the serial are:
-Dr.Simran Mathur played by Nikki Aneja
-Abhimanyu Saxsena played by Varun Bdola
-Dr.Manas Avasthi played by Alarsh Chayya
-Mr Mathur (Simran?s Father) played by Alok Nath.
The story of the serial reveals around a lady Dr. Simran Mathur. An unmarried lady completely devoted towards her work. A good doctor as well as a good human being. A proud for her family.
The theme of the story is the marriage of Dr. Simran with a photographer Abhimanyu Saxsena. Their marriage is so controversial because as Dr Simran is very famous personality her marriage is news for media and the most important reason is her marriage with a person who is younger than her. With a difference of age of 10 year.
The most influencing part of the serial is the nature of Dr Simran. Her thinking, her personality, ability to cope up with situation, devotion towards her work. Be very clear about her principles, theories, philosophies and ethics, and her matured approach towards life.
Her determination, her faith in the relationship and the way she takes the problem of life is so wonderful. The story reveals the fact that the marriages with a big age difference can be successful if both the partners are mature enough to deal with it. And if they were not than how the problems of life and society would play and important role in separating them which is of course not better from their earlier situation.
It also reveals the fact that a proper percentage or level of understanding is necessary for the smooth flow of any relationship rather than just to liking or loves each other. It shows many untellable demands of a relationship either it is a husband and wife or friends or mother, son etc. it also shows that how slow the thinking of the people change in our society.
Most of the lower middle class people are stick on their ancient myths and conceptions even today and how their old conceptions making their life more complex and increase their problem within the relationships. It reveals the difference between what really our society thinks about such situations. How society disagrees with the marriage of two people with a wide age gap.
In the serial there is also a relationship of friendship between a man and a woman which is just friendship and nothing else but how the society regrets it. I just want to know how these kinds of people tells everyone that we are modern and modest as their life style hasn?t being changed may be from their time of marriage till their children?s at married.
What I really don?t like about this serial is?.The so called good character of Dr. Simran. I mean good is okay but so much good is irritating. Forgiveness is good at once or twice but every time it is idiotic. She never takes revenge from anyone and infact not reacts aggressively and even she is ready to help that person anytime.
The last thing is the continuation of the serial, I think now Abhi and Simran should get married and the serial should be ended.
