I booked at V Hotel Lavender thru Asiatravel for the F1 weekend in Singapore. Unfortunately, our grandmother died 3 days before our trip. And so I made the necessary last minute cancellation and tried my luck into asking for a full refund although I know that the cancellation policy states that it should be made 7 days before the trip, otherwise penalties will be imposed. All I did was simply ask, only once, and just after a day of email exchanges, they coordinated with the hotel and THEY GAVE ME FULL REFUND!
They sent me an email saying:
"...as gesture of goodwill they had cancelled this booking without charge..."
I'm super thankful and grateful for it.
I'm an Asiatravel.com and V Hotel loyal client from now on.
