Quality of the products delivered was cheap as compared to what was shown in the pic online.
Based on some ok reviews about archiesonline, I decided to send a rakhi hamper to my brother.
This order(~1 kg haldirams gulabjamun, 2 rakhis, 1 rakhi card) was made on 1st of Aug, and was asked to be delivered by 5th of August, though it was delivered a day later, i.e. on 6th of August.
So this means the date commitment is not respected by archies online sales.
This is still ok, what is more concerning is that the quality of the products delivered was BAD, leave alone the aspect of deviating from the sample pic shown to us.
The pic showed a beautiful rakhi in a hardbound pack(these come expensive), and delivered one is a cheap string enclosed in a poly sheet.
The rakhi card shown in the sample was a std. size card of 6x8 inches with a beautiful message on the cover page. The delivered one however, was a smaller size card of 3.5x8 inches, with no message at all.
Sweets delivered was ok, as shown in the online pic. But for the rest, the quality was highly degraded.
We paid for the beauty and quality of products, and got some cheap ones in return.
To share above experience, I called the customer care people. The lady said they are very busy in rakhi orders, thus asked me to write a mail to ccare@archiesonline.com. I thus reported the above to online customer care. However, despite sending some 3 reminders, still haven't got any reply. This is worst customer support I've ever seen.
