I had a RO water filter for the last 9years, hence decided to change as it was old. I purchased this product in October 2017 thru Amazon for 17000 INR. The installation happened from the company within 5 days of purchase. The taste of water is not good, as I had earlier RO which was good. I had provided feedback and they sent a service engineer to rectify. The engineer came and just by tasting the water he says everything is fine, I took time and explained to him, he was not ready to listen only trying to convince me that the water taste is good. I finally sent him off and gave feedback to Aquaguard the same. Aquaguard took note and provided feedback to the engineer as customer was dissatisfied. He immediately called and asked me how can I give feedback like that, I lost my patience and blasted him and also called Aquaguard and complained to them. They sought another chance and sent another engineer, he came and used the TDS measurement equipment he then adjusted few settings and slight improvement could be noticed but still I was not satisfied, I conveyed the same, but he told me that this taste is normal for this water filter. Finally I agreed to settle because in India you cant do much after you have spent your money and purchased. Before you Purchase an item, the Customer is King, but after you have purchased the Seller is the King, customer becomes beggar.
My ordeal didnt die down, after 3 months the filter didnt work, I again called the customer care, they sent an engineer, they identified the regulator had failed, since it was within warranty, they replaced free of cost. After a month the filter started leaking water from every direction, I called the customer care, this time after analysis, they found out the ULTRAFILTRATION cartridge had cracked and started leaking, but this time they charged 600 INR me though within warranty telling filters are not covered under warranty. Once after 9 months the same filter has cracked again and started leaking. This time I decided to hell with their customer care, I bought thru online and added. Such an expensive item but very poor quality of product and pathetic customer service. This way Aquaguard is sure to lose the market and customers. I have suggested 8-10 who were about to buy Aquaguard but changed them to buy Kent instead. I am not going for any Aquaguard product henceforth after such experiences.
