All of Apples products are beautifully designed and thelittle known Apple Mac Mini is no exception. The size of a child’s lunch box, the Mac Mini is a neat silver cased CPU with the logo of the Mac embossed on top.
I have been tired of my bulky cranky CPU for a while now andwas simply bidding my time when I needed an overhaul. I got my excuse to switchover to the sleek, better quality Apple Mac Mini, when my computer stoppedworking one day (sorry I didn’t wait to find out why, it was just an old wreck J).
One of the prime reasons I bought the Apple Mac Mini was forits price, which is much less than any of Apples desktops or laptops. Eventhough the Mac Mini is tiny, it is still a power packed performer, I now have agreat OS that does not hang each time multiple software’s are opened, itprovides me great speed, great clarity of image and of course the much neededstorage space. Since Macs attract less viruses that is one less thing to botherabout.
Since I’ve bought the Apple Mac Mini I’ve had nothing tocrib. It saves me lots of space and has reduced the ugly jumble of wires. MyMac Mini even confused some of my guests who wondered how my monitor was workingand were simply shocked when I showed them the CPU that can be carried aroundin a handbag!. Which brings me to another benefit of the Mac Mini. Thanks toits size the Mac Mini can be easily carried around and all you need to do isplug it into a monitor, keyboard and mouse to get it running. Additionally itis known as the world’s most energy-efficient desktop computer.
The Apple Mac Mini has a slim slot for the CD on one sideand 5 USB ports, I firewire port, 1 large port for the monitor, 1 slot of thepower cord, a port for the modem and a jack for the earphones.
Inside my beautifully appealing Mac Mini is an Intel Core 2Duo processor, NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics processor, 256MB of DDR3 SDRAM, 320GB hard disk, Mac OS X Leopard and a built in Bluetooth capability
The Mac mini comes with a 90 day free telephone support anda one-year limited warranty, however I have purchased the AppleCare ProtectionPlan which provides me with direct telephone support from Apple technicalexperts and the assurance that repairs will be handled by Apple-authorizedtechnicians using genuine Apple parts.
The Apple Mac Mini has brought me so much value wonder why it’snot more common in India.Interestingly I recently learnt that Apple India is giving Student Discounts on all the computers for details you can call 1800 425 4646. Wish I was a student :(
