It's just been a week since the time I got the delivery of the new MAC Pro. I would like to describe the product in just two words, mind blowing. It's compact and foremost as it is an apple product it has to be gorgeous. Some technical insights:
It supports 40GB/s of PCI Express gen 3 bandwidth and 256-bit-wide floating point instructions, now what that means simply is you might have to chain your CPU to the desk or it may just fly out of the window, its that speed, lol.
Can support up to 64GB RAM, mine is 32GB and does the work for graphic designing, thatis awesome.
It has the maximum AMD FirePro DDR5 VRAM, mine has the same, just to give an idea how powerfull it is, assume your playing a game with the highest possible setting on a 4K resolution, still you can minimise the game and connect the CPU to four different 4K displays to it and play different movies all at the same time in 4K resolution and yet there won't be any visible lag.
Supports 1TB PCIe-based flash storage, spped will be approximately 1200MB/s.
Conclusion: Would you want to spend a hefty Rs 3,38,588 for this technological marvel and if you do have the need for so much power then do not think twice to go ahead with it.
