Bad experience. Never again. Review on Apollo Munich Health Insurance

I bought apollo travel insurance when I flew my family from Mangalore to Bangalore. Due to a death in the family, we could not fly on the scheduled day. I called Apollo & they assured me that as soon as I produce a death certificate, that they would reimburse the amount.

I live abroad & for the international flight, I had purchased American Express travel insurance. I had to reschedule my international departure as well.

I provided documents to both companies. It took me less than 10 days to get reimbursed from America Express

I am waiting for more than 3 months to get anything from Apollo. It looks like a total fraud company. All I get is automated emails with a new case number every time I try to follow up.I will never buy travel insurance while flying in India & take my chances.

Apollo - Please learn from American Express about customer service.
