Dear Readers, I have purchased a Insurance policy, Optima Restore for Self & Family in 2012 from Apollo Munich, I had quite a bitter experience with them while buying the policy and then on every renewal, I will categorized my experience in three below bullet points.




  1. They increased the premium after the medical test of mine, where as I am fit and healthy at the time of buying the policy and till date, I was 43 years old & having no health issues neither I have till date, No Sugar, No BP, No Heart Problems & more over I have not claimed a single rupee from them till date, but they are increasing the premium on the renewal,




First they give me premium of 43 K approx, after loading they revise the premium to 53 K approx and then on second renewal they revised the premium to 63 K and on 3rd renewal they revise the premium to 75 K+ without any justification.




  1. Their Customer care executives and back hand team is very unprofessional and irresponsible, they will never provide you any solution and never call you back once you are their customer or purchase the policy, when I told them that I would like to migrate if I will not been given any proper justification of increasing the premium on every renewal, they asked me 24 hours time to come with a solution, but even after expiry of the policy term they never called me back, I wrote around 10 messages at different level but all in vain.




  2. There was also error in my date of birth even after giving them the proof, which they have accepted but not corrected. very very poor experience, this time I was not having sufficient time but next time I will surely move to some other professionally managed insurance company, even after paying the premium not received any update from them renewal confirmation, I follow for renewal and forwarded online payment proof, where is it should be renewed automatically without any followup, if I will continue with them may be next time they will increase the premium to 1 lac or may be more, this is as per my experience with them of last 4 years, for the knowledge of general people I am 47 & three kids aged 19, 13 & 9 years paid premium 75 K+ for two years, which is a very high premium, but its good now we can port and save our heard earned money from the cheaters.






Please spend quality time before you buy policy with them and understand each and everything in details, otherwise you have repent like I am doing.
