I had problem in my stomach and have consulted so many gastroenterologist in Madurai and Chennai. Those doctor's did endoscopy test and gave medicines but nothing worked out.
So, I googled for best gastroenterologist in Chennai and got A.T. Mohan's name. I went to this doctor with all my previous reports and medical prescriptions. The doctor started asking me the problem and its history. He was not interested in knowing what other doctors said. After hearing the problem, he suggested only one test along with Thyroid test and identified the exact cause. And gave me the medicines accordingly which solved my problem.
Though these are Pros, there are some Cons as well.
The doctor's behaviour is bit rude initially. But again he has enough knowledge. I went for close to 5-6 visit and slowly made friendship with him and later understand the complete root cause. Then I understand that the doctor himself gets lot of pressure from Apollo hospital in taking classes for trainee doctors, etc. He started sharing all his experience to me.
Fees is Rs.1000 per visit.
He use to suggest Thyroid test and blood sugar test during every visit which is unnecessary. But he gets some commission out of it. Since I want to get this cured, I was forced to take this test.
So, my suggestion is, it is very difficult to find a doctor who has knowledge to do diagnosis. And this doctor is good at it. Also, we cannot afford more money for every visit. Hence, go to this doctor and get treatment for some time. And after that for further/long-term treatment go for ayurvedic or any near by good doctors.
