I would like to inform you about Apollo Gleneagles at Kolkata .Though this hospital claims that it is very improved in 360 ° gastro care but I would say it blows its own trumpet .It is a big zero .We have one relative who contemplated to get treated after low blood haemoglobin .The doctor treated on the first visit and didn't give any clue about the disease .Only he had prescribed iron tablets and food enriched in iron .When the family members asked the doctor,he remained silent .She took tablet and after two months the haemoglobin level didn't rise .They again made appointment with another doctor in this hospital and recommended for endoscopy and colonoscopy whereas it could have been done two months ago .She went for coloniscopy and they got the info that the patient had health insurance .Immediately they advised for a quick admission for coloniscopy only on ICC.Can you imagine? This is the condition of the hospital .When after colonoscopy the patient party within whom I was also one part wanted to talk to the main doctor whose name is not required here,didn't want to speak but his assistant junior doctor talked regarding the matter .So please don't believe this hospital .Rather Chennai Apollo is far better .I have shared my practical experience .Charge is excessively high in Kolkata whereas the service is just nothing .
