Anwar.... starred Manisha koirala, her brother Siddharth koirala.movie is based upon a true incidence. now coming to the track...
there r three composers in this movie.one is Pankaj awasthi other is Mithun and another is Ghunghroo ( I dont know whether this is his name or what)
coming to firsr song. its actually a theme, anwar's theme. nice flute playing and bells r dingling in background,composed by pankaj awasthi.. doesnt hav much effect... chalta hai kind of.
second song, bangla khulla... composed by ghunghroo. a truck driver song,ila arun kind a song nothing special except some good playing of key board in interlute.a dual meaning https://lyrics.
third song, dilbar mera..., composed and sung by pankaj awasthi.a good effort of making combo of many instruments playin at same time but some times it looks irritating, there is nothing much in pankaj awasthi's voice also... overall... chalta hai
fourth song, into the black...,composed by pankaj awasthi.. it is just an instrumental but still no much impact in this,too.
fifth song, jo maine aas lagayi,...composed and sung by pankaj awasthi. a good classical effort,a thumri kind a song
sixth song, mela... composed by pankaj awasthi.. a fusion kind a song.rajasthani slow folk with some western beats. having nice beats but after sometime it also feels boared.
now coming to that two songs due to which this album has given 3 stars.both r composed by mithun,excellent composer (remember bas ek pal??)
among two,first one is maula mere maula... beautifully sung by rup kumar rathod.a sufi song. beautiful playing of dholak and this is the first song which has good https://lyrics.song is written by saiyad quadri.beautiful touch of saarangi and flute in interlutes. in short... excellent song.. must listen
now coming to second song another masterpiece by mithun i.e. jaweda zindgi ( tose naina lage)...
sung by Kshitij and Shilpa rao... a beautiful fusion. ull surely remember abhijit pohankar and ajay pohankar after listening this song.even the male voice is very similar to pohankar. excellent excellent work.very melodious songthough the whole song goes in just one way..in sort, excellent excellent song, must must listen.
so overall... if u want to purchase the album then expect only two or three song which can be said good. even there is not much in lyrics also except couple of songs. inly two songs of Mithun gives excellent reward so go for this two songs only. I m sure ull surly remember my review while listening these two songs.....cheers..................
