I was told that Anjum is a popular haunt for holding tea tasting sessions. Also, the Fort Lighting Ceremony takes place just outside Anjum each evening.
So me along with my friends went to Fairmont- Anujum to experience one such session.
It was a great evening to savour an unrivalled selection of authentic, high quality teas.
Sitting in the lobby area and enjoying my hot beverage, I couldn't help but notice the ornate murals and comfortable lounge style sofas all around.
The view of the majestic willow Stream Spa from Anjum gleaming against the azure pool is a sight to behold.
For tea they had a variety of options to choose from like Earl Grey, Assam, Chamomile and the quality was as good as the packaging. I ordered one masala tea .
The masala tea was very heavy and had more quantity of milk and it's taste was empowering than the masala and other ingredients of the tea. I did not like it much
We also ordered Potato wafers, biscuits( which were quite nice) and poha sev .
The cutlery in which they serve is very authentic and beautiful.
I liked the whole ambiance and set up of the place near pool side.
The place is clean, calm and very relaxing.
In the evening Anjum transforms into a romantic evening lounge with stars on the ceiling twinkling away and it's absolutely amazing.
The service is nice and staff is polite.
although the price is quite high but it's worth spending.
