Many people think that Ghee is bad for health but that is not true. Excess of anything is bad and yes ghee is also bad in large quantities but it is also good for our health in many ways. It gives nourishment to skin and hair, it has vitamin e, it is good for eyesight, bones, teeth and we need to have some ghee in our diet. My dad is a doctor so he told me this long time ago. People who have heart problems should keep away from Ghee because it will add to cholesterol, but others should have little ghee in something every alternate day at least.
We use Amul Ghee in our family since a long time, it is made with pure cow milk as my parents say this is the same quality they got when they were kids and made ghee at home with cow milk. Only a little quantity is required. We make puris in ghee only because we first give it to God so it has to made in pure Ghee. othewise when we make rice or khichdi we put hot ghee one spoon in it to give our body all the benefits. It tastes great when hot! Also, babies must be massaged with warm ghee for beautiful skin, strong bones and teeth!
