This is in connection with the ‘supposedly’ on going war between the top two actors of India Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan as reported by the media. It was very sad to read Amitabh’s distasteful remark “ I want to do challenging roles so that SRK can copy me “.
Though it goes without saying that Big B is the greatest star we have witnessed in Indian films but that doesn’t give him the levy to pass such degrading statements about his juniors. Shah Rukh Khan has his own standing in the industry and is doing fabulously well for himself. If SRK has replaced him in KBC or acted in the remake of Don doesn’t necessarily mean he is copying him and even if he is doing what’s the harm.
Shah Rukh is truly the king of box office and the undisputed superstar of the present generation. Is Mr Bachchan’s insecurity making him utter such things ? It doesn’t suit him one bit and is in bad taste. If Shah Rukh has taken over as the new host of KBC he has truly lived up to the expectations of the viewers and is winning accolades for his awesome act. Grow up Big B. *
