I got American Express Credit Card in the month of March, 2013. Initially I very sceptic in getting this card as there was an high annual fee of Rs. 4500 after 1 year. Since it was free for first year, I decided to try it out. After getting the card, first I tries using the card at reliance fresh with whom American Express have tie up, but this card was not accepted there. T
hen I tried using this card every where I would normally use my other credit cards cards but none of the place this card was accepted. I tried using my card at Monginis, laptop shop, mobile shop, super market etc. but none of the places it was accepted. This card was just a piece of plastic for me. And on top it these buggers charge Rs. 4500 as annual fee from 2nd year onward.
This high annual fees is for what when other credit card companies give it for free or at a very low annual fee of Rs. 500 to 750/- so I decided to immediately discontinue its use lest I forget and be charged with high annual fee for this useless card.
