Recently I flew from New delhi to Chicago, New York, Buffalo, washigton and back by AA. The meals were below standard. they do not serve any alcohol(of course they are most willing to sell it.). Most of the air hostesses are old, unsmart and very officious. You do not feel welcome aboard.
Every flight will stops at chicago. If you have to go to Buffalo form New York - it may take you half a day.
Rigorous security check at New Delhi and Buffalo nearly exhausted us. Many of the questions asked are quite funny and unnecessary. It also resulted in flight delay.
In 18 hr long flight they do not give dental kit(tooth-paste, tooth brush etc)- it is only given to business class passengers. Is it a luxury or a bare necessity for every passenger irrespective of the class.
My suggestion- never fly American Airlines by choice.
