Bye Bye Amazon rot in hell. Review on Amazon

I have purchased multiple times from Amazon.in but this experience has really made me believe that they are no better than any tom dick and harry of eCommerce in fact WORSE, the only difference is of scale.

This is my experience with following order

Ordered on 1 June 2016  Order# 171-0241805-8569101

I ordered few products from them on 1st of June 2016, the expected delivery date given by them was 10th of June.I guess they were sourcing it from Mars.whatever. It didn't reached till 12th June so I contacted their so called customer care. As expected they told me that it will be delivered in next 1-2 days.no problem thinks go wrong sometime but it's OK if you genuinely want to correct it.

When it didn't reached by 15th I decided to contact them again and this was the response -

"08:30 PM IST Ashishkumar(Amazon): I am really sorry for this but I am positive that you will receive the order by tomorrow."

Well I contacted them again on 18th June when order was not delivered and again I was told this -

"I've contacted the courier team and have escalated this to be delivered at the earliest and received an update that few of these perishable goods, there is a possibility of the products being damaged, due to which the order was stuck and was not updated on the tracking, therefore, please let me know, if you'd like to have the part of  the order replaced or refunded."

Believe me this is just an excuse as none of the items were perishable and even if it was.is it not a responsibility of the seller to update the buyer about this/delay in shipping.

Today is 19th June and following is the Tracking update.
