There was a time in indian history where watching movies was an event which people waited for days to come and while watching movies people use to throw coins at the screen and blow whistles and the films which use to get this treatment were the masala films which followed the rule of only entertaining people.

Even at the cost of script and technical expertise and all the best belongs to this genre as the film basically is a brainless slapstick comedy lacking in strong storyline or script mainly held together by hilarious gags, strong acting, exciting music and crazy characters and as far as four stars I have given to this film are extrewmely deserving as.

I feel entertaining audience is the main task of the film and not testing intelligence of the audience which can be easily done through other means in life and so my verdict for the film is that go for the film, you will entertained wholesomely but dont expect a masterpiece or you will be disappointed

Story.

The film basically is a story of two slackers one veer(fardeen) who lives in the mansion and off the pocketmoney sent by his rich brother dharam(sanjay dutt) by pretending to be married to vidhya while other other character is prem chopra(ajay devgan) a car mechanic cum racer who lives with his wife janhavi(bipasha) who runs second hand gym but they get into trouble when dharam lands on the way to lusetho and mistakes janhavi to be veer wife and prem chopra as a leecherous person and to add to that there are nutty characters like jhopatpati turned lottery winner rgv(sanjay mishra) who likes to just chill, a m, ute and deaf don (johnny lever)who communicates by banging spoon and glass , a malayali maid(ashwini) and asrani who add to mayhem which in turn is entertainment guaranteed

performance

prem chopra-ajay devgan is good as shady prem chopra

dharam-sanjay dutt is funny as elder brother dharam

veer-fardeen khan is ok as veer

janhavi-bpiasha basu does well in a small role

vidhya-mugdha godse has little to do in a small role

rgv-sanjay mishra is the star of the show as nutty rgv

don-johnny lever is back in form as mute don
