Air Tel Sux!. Review on Airtel Mobile Operator

In today's world,where the consumer rules what do u expect from a service provider?

1)Prompt Service.

2)Polite and Helpful people.

3)Quick problem solving ability.

4)Professionalism.

and much more....

Since I already use orange and have used BPL before, I wanted to try out some other carrier and so I decided to go for Air Tel! and did I just make a MASSIVE MISTAKE??

COVERAGE

Well,the coverage is not that bad, although it doesnt match orange's but still decent if u dont plan to use your cell in enclosed spaces.obviously a lot of use cell phones at home, in offices or in the elevator(at times!) but Air Tel doesnt permit u to do that! You gotta use your cell phone in ''open areas'' thats what Air Tel believes.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

Hmm....so when someone stores their customer care number in your cell phone...u expect to connect when u call them, Not all that true with airtel. An Irritating message ''Please dial the code if u know...or wait for us to repeat!'' may bombard your ears! thats just not the end...even if you do get through NEVER trust what the ''customer care executive says'' cause as it appears..they are NOT responsible for what they say!! how ridiculous is that!! these are the exact words quoted by someone in the gallery when I had a problem. It happened when I had to unblock my SIM card after I recovered my cell...as I have said earlier I am not interested in keeping my air tel connection..so I go to their gallery near siddhiviniayak temple in mumbai and ask them if my balance is still valid in which case I planned to use it up and eventually change to orange.....i was told that my balance is still valid and I'll have to refill so that I can use it..So I pay Rs 100 for the SIM n refill the card.Even after 24 hrs my balance is still not added to my account and SIM isnt unblocked.So I call the ''so called'' customer care...and the guy tells me that probably the other guy forgot to unblock my SIM..so he put in a fresh request.Well,after 8 hrs my SIM was unblocked but no balance was added. Now again I try to call..n I get nothin but that annoying message I was talking about. So I go to the gallery...n expect someone mature,sensible,n polite enough to attend to me..guess what I get? I get some insensitive,incompetent,arrogant,tyros sitting in front of me...(this is at the siddhivinayak gallery).The guy who I spoke to earlier has taken an off...so I have to speak to these other blokes who tell me that they are not responsible for what they say...the balance had already become invalid long ago.So why the hell was I told it was valid in the first place? Not only by the people in the gallery but also by the customer care executive? IS THIS BEING PROFESSIONAL?? I GUESS NOT!! and the most ridiculous part is that according to the gallery guys(Nirav and Fatima) it was my mistake that I asked Manoj(another gallery guy, the one who took an off)in the first place!! I dont understand how can anyone be so insanely dumb?or dumber to hire such peeps?atleast get someone who has some average intelligence! not some below average freaks. I'm not at all satisfied by this experience.and I dont believe Air Tel can get any better than this! I hope those freaks read this and I also hope Air Tel fires these dumb asses! I strongly donot recommend Air Tel to anyone....D'uh obviously!!
