I have the same airtel number (relationship number 102-100955151) for the past 10 years and my bill has on an average never exceeded Rs. 1200/- or so, Last month to my shock I received a bill of Rs. 4200. When I asked them for clarifications and repeated phone calls and emails they said it was due to my internet charges.
So I asked them for the break up and explained that I have the same bill plan from the past and while my internet charges have remained the same how is it possible that my internet charges have sky rocketted. I even told them to do a trend analysis which will prove my point.
How ever they have not even bothered to check nor revert and constantly sending me sms's for payment. I have decided not to pay unless my problem is addressed. And I am actually so disgusted that if I have to pay my entire bill amount I don't mind but I will definitely port my number to a different service provider.
