I have purchased Airtel Mobile - Prepaid SIM No.87552617** at Badarinath Dham on 10th August-2012 and activated on 13th August-2012.by submitting my Voter ID & PAN card copies. I have recharged ith Rs.1050/- on 28th augut-2012. suddenly o 30th August -2012 my SIM I not working. When I checked with Customer Care, they informed me that they have not received my ID Proofs. hence my SIM is De-activated and forfeited the available balance (R.1050).

I have purchased the SIM on 10th Aug-12 and activated the SIM on 13th after they received mi ID Proofs.  Actually it I the responsibility f the Agent to submit the documents. If they didn't receive the same or not in good conditions, at first they should inform us to re-submit the same by giving ome time at least 1 week. After that they should give notice of De-activation. even after we didn't responded, then they can ed-activate and forfeit the amount.

If the Agent did mistake how can Airtel People Punish Customer?

SIM will be sold to us only after submitting Identity Proof.I took the issue to ConsumerCourtForum, Akosha & complaint sindia, com online complaints. After a long fight my SIM is re-activated on 24th september-2012 but balance not refunded. In this connection I sent email.to Airtel Appeelate.  Against that I have received response that your amount being forfeited for non submission of ID Proofs.

The fact again I took to ConsumerCourtForum, Akosha team. Today (12th Oct-2012) I have received an email from Airtel Appellate that they are directing the concerned authorities to arrange refund.

Hence I suggest all of you, NOT to Recharge Airtel Prepaid for huge amounts.

Bye
