Airtel Broadband is bogus and cheaters. It took Airtel broadband connection for home after facing bad services from my previous broadband provider. Airtel initially gave good services and then again everything went same as it was with previous provider.
#1. Internet Speed: Internet speed it never what they promised and they everytime had same reason that as subscribers are increasing the exchange is making some modification and soon this issues will resolves and that they're very sorry for inconvenience. I took 16 MBps plan and I never had that much speed infact the basic VoIP call drops when I talk to someone on WhatsApp or on Skype. Live telecast you cannot watch without a lag in stream. I only had speed around 3-4 MBps and it is not what I was what my plan says and I pay for.
#2. Connection Reliability: It's not reliable as their exchange has frequent outages and they constantly are working on some upgrade and due to which your services are impacted without prior intimation and if you have some business that has to be taken care of then this broadband connection is not reliable as things for entertainment can wait but business presence is something you cannot afford to lose if you have some business or work. On an average every week 2 - 3 day they have issues which are not normal and false commitments are made when you report the issues and you lose you time and patience and might consider taking some other provider's connection.
#3. Service & Support: Actually I heard from someone that Airtel's service and support is very good. This's 1 of the big reason I took their connection but my personal experience is that when you hear such things it is always better to ask someone that is using such service near your locality not someone that is having a good experience elsewhere. In my region Airtel services are bad and later when I searched on internet I found that I am not alone and even it is not related to my locality my people from different regions are reporting the same problem and their is a big issue that there is no transparency in billing to. I lost my patience due to their bad service and asked them to disconnect my connection they then tried to scheme me out with plans that were not their at their website and I was shocked to figure that out. I needed a stable connection on which I can rely and I was not interested in their schemes and got Airtel connection disconnected.
I won't recommend Airtel broadband to anyone.
