I moved to Airtel from Vodafone last year. I regret that decision.
My phone was picked on Wednesday, 1st July. I lodged a complaint with Airtel and got a new SIM on 2nd July morning.
More than two days have passed and even after multiple visits and many hours spent at Airtel Service Centre Rohini, the SIM is yet to get activated. Airtel has been giving me fruitless assurances : will get activated in a few hours.will surely work by tomorrow morning.
However, these are all false promises and my phone is still not working. I can't believe that activating a new SIM could take so long ( more than 72 hours and still counting) .
Airtel is so cavalier, harassive ( they made me provide documents and photographs multiple times in the last 2 days) and un-cooperative about it. I am a professional and because of no phone, am losing business. They have no concern for their hapless customers.For all those who are opting for Airtel - be warned.
