Well, after watching the trailer of Airlift two months back, it was very much clear that this movie is going to be massive, So lets find it out, if it is worth your watch?
The movie shows the conflicts and attack on Kuwait by Iraq in way back 1990, it is a story of evacuation of over 1, 70, 000 Indians from Kuwait safely, the story moves around the character followed by Akshay kumar, the name of the character was Ranjit Katiyal, who is a business man, but suddenly Iraq attacks on Kuwait overnightly and overcome Kuwait, Ranjit katiyal wants to evacuate all Indians safely to India, he tries to contact Delhi for help, then by his efforts India gave a nod to evacuate the Indians in Kuwait with the help of commercial pilots and made this impossible evacuation possible.
The cast of the movie was very talented and made the situations very real, the direction was fantastic and music was also as required by the movie. Overall Airlift turns out to be the best goft for the viewers this Republic Day. Its definitely must watch.
