Akhsay's expected best seller in 2016, AIRLIFT.
The film captures the story of the Indians stuck in Kuwait during that time, through the eyes of Ranjit Katiyal and a few other characters. This is a story about how these Indians, with the help of Ranjit Katiyal, managed to survive the Iraqi invasion, andagainst all odds, move across Iraq into Jordan, from where they were brought home to India by the largest ever Airlift attempted in the history of the world.
An Interesting topic about a Real Incident. I liked the concept and everything but the matter of the fact was that plotting of the film did not appeal that much, in fact there were many instances that made me leave the movie, but the story kept appealing and I had to watch till end.
Most embarrassing were the SONGS, what in the name one put the songs in a Thriller and that too in a topic like this. Songs themeselves were quite a good listen but a calm soothing background Music might have been a better choice for such Love Scenes in a Thriller.
Overall, movie is good but at the story level, not the plot, it could have been better, in fact I was expecting some thing like Madras Cafe Level but disappointed.
