Movie – Agneepath.
Saw this movie yesterday(Sunday evening) with family and was awestruck by everyone's performance.
The movie start as –
A teacher
(Dinanath Chauhan) teaching his son(Vijay Chauhan) a poem
" Tu na jhukega kabhi, tu na rukega kabhi,
tu na mudega kabhi.
kar shapath kar shapath kar shapath.
AGNIPATH AGNIPATH AGNIPATH
Ye mahan drushya hai,
Chal raha manushya hai,
ashru, swed, rakt se,
lathpat, lathpat, lathpat.
AGNIPATH AGNIPATH AGNIPATH ".
The Chauhan family resides in Mandwa which is famous for its salt factory. Dinanath Chauhan is the only teacher in that village. He wants to develop and educate the people of Mandwa.
Then Kancha(Sanjay Dutt) enters Mandwa village. He always says:
“tum kya leke aaye the…
tum kya leke jaoge…
rahejayega toh sirf ek he insaan…
sarva sakti sali sarva saktimaa…”
He wants to grow cocaine in Mandwa so he needs the villagers land. He tries to influence the people and get their land but the teacher tells the villagers not to give away their land.
Kancha comes to know about the teachers intentions and plays a game against him. The villagers kill the teacher and now his son Vijay and wife come to Mumbai. The way the teacher is killed is very cruel.
Vijay and his mother come to Mumbai to a place called Dongri. There Vijay meets Rauf Lala(Rishi Kapoor) who has illegal business in Mumbai. He’s Kancha’s enemy. Rauf Lala doesn’t like Kancha from beginning. Rauf Lala has a hold over Mumbai and Kancha want to have that hold as well but he is banned from Mumbai.
Vijay comes to know about this and he remembers his father’s teaching that to defeat someone you need to have power in your hand. So he starts working for Rauf Lala and becomes his right hand.
In the meantime Vijay stays alone in Dongri where as his mother and sister stay at other place. His mother is not happy about Vijay’s decision about joining Rauf Lala.
In this whole journey only his friend Kaali(Priyanka Chopra) supports him. After 15 years, Vijay gets a chance to take his revenge against Kancha. So he sets off to meet Kancha back in Mandwa. Then enters Katrina Kaif with her song Chikni Chameli.
Kancha and Vijay have a deal that Kancha would get to rule Mumbai and Vijay would get Mandwa. With this deal Vijay comes back to Mumbai. In the meant time Kancha Comes to know the truth about Vijay and kidnaps his mother and sister.
Vijay heads off to Mandwa and the real fights begin. In the end Vijay kills Kancha the same way , Kancha had killed his father.
The movie ends with the dialogue:
