Act Fibernet - No proper customer support service. Review on ACT Fibernet

I purhased Netgear D500 model router from Amazon for taking net connection.All went very good, i brought the router and I enquired for the best ISP in the area and they say me take Act Fibernet.Actually I was looking for airtel connection because they have good offers for people always.Free router, free landline phone connection and low cost.But the airtel network told me they will take 6 months to assembling in my area due to no line.Then I switched to Act Fibernet. As soon as I call the customer care number, they came and registered my connection.After 1 day send technician to give connection -but the technician told me that the router I bought is for reliance/bsnl broadband service and cannot be configured for laptop and mobile through wireless.I was disappointed until I call the Netgear customer support and enquired about it. They guide me that the router an be configured to RJ 45 jack also and few setting changes made the router configure my laptop and mobiles through wireless stream.Thanks to Netgear and very bad service by At fibernet for giving incomplete information.
