I have been using the ACT Fibernet broadband connection for about 5 months. I have a 10 mbps connection for Rs 650 per month with a monthly limit of 50 GB. The upload speeds are the same as the download speeds. The actual speeds I get are usually quite close to what is claimed, though it does become slow at times.
While it definitely offers much much better speed for the same money compared to Airtel or BSNL, the connection is not at all stable and keeps getting disconnected, sometimes several times a day. This is quite frustrating and the ACT resolver tool provided on the website is of no use.
Also, do NOT buy the router they will try to sell you along with a new connection. You can get a much better router outside for a lesser amount.
