My self along with 3 families planned trip on 18 & 19th of Jun 2011 from Nasik.
We left at 10.30am in Innova Car.Its pleasant journey with ghat road & beautiful nature all the way. It took around 2 hrs to reach Jawahar. The booking of Sunset View Resort is full. We tried Hotel Pushpanjali & Raj Kamal but we were not happy with the rooms. So we decidied to go Hotel Sankalp which is better for family accomodation.
We had lunch at Hotel Shivneri at Dahanu Road. Then we visited the New Jay Vilas Palace about 15min walk through Cashaw Trees.The palace is in good condition. For entry you have to give some money for chai-pani to the security & he will show you the palace. On the back side of the palace there is beautiful view of mountains.
Around 4pm we gone to the Jay Sagar dam.Outside the dam there is beautiful garden we had rest for about 1 hr. Then we gone to Sunset view point.Had some beautiful Snaps.
We had our dinner at Hotel Sunset View. The food is nice & the restaurant is very pleasant with Warli paintings on the wall.
Next day morning we had our break fast at Hotel Sun set view. Then we left for Dabhosa Fall on Silvasa road about 20km. from Jawahar. With reach within 45 min. The Dabhosa fall is very scenic & the must visit place of Jawahar. After taking snaps we return back for lunch at Hotel Sunset view.
After lunch we had gone to the local market for shopping of Warli paintings.
In market there is only one source Rangubai Pahadi Bhavan where you can get handicraft products with warli paintings on it. But keep in mind the outlet closes at 5 pm.
After shopping we moved to Nasik.
Accommodation:-
Sunset View Resort is the best option to stay & Food is also very nice.
