A FLYING JATT: Aaka vs Raka
Aman(Tiger Shroff, 26) is a happy-go-lucky Punjabi Jat, who is afraid of heights. In contrast to him is his bewdi fearless loud mother(Amrita Singh, 58). She inspires him to give-up his meekness and be a true blue superhero, out to save peoples' lives. The superhero comes alive when the businessman Kay Kay Menon(49) unleashes villain Raka(Nathan Jones, 48) on the hero. Jacqueline Fernandez(31), a teacher, enters the hero's life to provide the glamour quotient. And find Shraddha Kapoor in a cameo that adds to the movie.
Suffice it to say, AFJ is SINGH IS KING+ KRRISH= DEADPOOL.
The fight is between David vs Goliath. Like Aaka vs Raka. In many scenes, Tiger looks feminine in the superhero garb that is similar to Hrithik's. The blue color symbolizing Punjabis doesn't exactly add up to anything. Tiger is too young to play a superhero that requires bulging muscular body. And the climax fights in sky and all over is a bit too much.
Amrita as mother is lively. Her drunker act can match Dolly Ahluwalia's in VICKY DONOR.
JacFer has nothing much to do except be glamorous. She does dance well in the already popular number "Beat pe Booty".
The real hero is actually Nathan. As a villain, out to unleash evil, he does justice. And his ample figure adds to his role.
Producer Ekta Kapoor brings forth AFJ after UDTA PUNJAB. She's on a Punjab-trip keeping next year elections in mind and also sizeable Punjabi viewers at home and abroad.
Director Remo D'Souza is an excellent dancer choreographer, who has already directed FALTU, ABCD, and ABCD2. He has another winner in AFJ. Songs and dances are simply superb.
Gaurav Pandey will win hearts with his "Bhangda pa". He matches Tiger in dance in this fantastic song.
This is another superhero movie. India has seen quite a few along with father-son jodis.

Tiger may have a hat-trick of hits after HEROPANTI and BAAGHI. I enjoyed the movie. This Jatt kicks the butts. Even without latts. Tiger'll add to his fan-following and hits. The movie is a good one-time watch to end the summer.
