Story:

I was not a fan of Chetan Bhagat untill I read this book. 2 States is the story of a Punjabi guy (Krish Malhotra) and a Tamil girl (Ananya Swaminathan) and the struggle that Krish has to face in order to marry Ananya. the beginning of the book was great where the author clearly says that in India if a guy and girl need to get married, then the guy's parents have to like the girl and the girls parents have to like the guy. The guy's parents have to like girl's parents and finally they get married. Wonderful Story! Especially the way Krish struggles to get an approval from Ananya's parents is something that is noteworthy. Only thing that I disliked was unrealistic character change of Krish's father in the end. Apart from that, the novel is a real page turner.
