This book was way way ahead of its time . Just to understand the functioning and the motives of several types of governments to such an extent is by itself genius! And to put all of them into words and wrap it around with a fantastic story was just brilliant .
George Orwell is definitely one of the greatest English language writers .The amounts of effort he must have put and the research he must've done is unimaginable .Once you read it, you'll realize how much important this book is . Every person at some point in his/her life should definitely read this book atleast once .
Though some time it seems book is projected at criticism of communism but actually it applies to all government no matter which one.
