Even I got cheated by 100bestbuy.com they informed me that I won a contest and would get a Rs. 5000/- worth of goods as prize and the only payment I will have to make is Rs. 920 as courier charges. When I received the prize I had to pay first. then first flight courier person asked me to check the package for tampering Once everything was confirmed he left and I opened the package.
All I got was a local make MP3 player which did not come with its full attachments and should be worth approx Rs. 500/- and a transcend memory card of 2 GB which had a MRP of Rs. 149/- The normal courier charges of First Flight for such small parcels is approx Rs. 200 - 250/- which shows that I have been cheated into making a purchase of a Product I did not want.
There must be some way to get these guys arrested and fined. Can anybody advise me how to do the needful.
