Hey nice review, i am also from Bangalore and also a proud owner of the HUNK. Hey can you suggest some good place around Bangalore, me and my friends are planning to go on a single day bike trip very soon (not very long ride cause my friends own apaches and FZs which ll be a pain to ride for long, u...nlike the hunk which is best for long rides), also the weather now in Bangalore is awesome.Read More

Hunk is way better than the Dazzler. I have the new HUNK and my friend has a Dazzler, we both decided to test our rear disc brakes, we applied the rear disc at 35-40kmph and i was shocked to see that the Honda Dazzler skidded too much sideways almost lost control, but my HUNK just skid little straig...ht and stopped immediately, well there is only one explanation to this the Dazzler is 138kg and Hunk is 149kg so that extra weight on the Hunk is responsible for it to stick to the road well and be stable where as the Dazzler is dangerous with disc brakes and light weight.Read More

Hi Nelson, this is not a big problem actually. The idle rpm should be 1300-1400. To the right side of the bike under the tank there is a screw type of thing that you can turn to increase or decrease the idle rpm ( this you can find near the spark plug), read the bike manual, they have given pictoria...l description on how to change the idle rpm .Read More

Congrats on your new Hunk, Keep the bike below 55-60kmph till the 2500km service (2nd free service) and you ll regularly get a mileage of 55kmpl. Initially mileage will flucuate a lot from 40s to 60s, but later it ll stabilize in the 50s it all depends on how you ride.

Hey, nice review. I have seen your review on Your ex Avenger and also the pics posted in flikr. Good that you have chosen Honda. I hope more people learn that Bajaj bikes are nothing more than show pieces, The best bikes are always from Herohonda and Honda. I recently bought the Herohonda HUNK, i li...ked both Dazzler and Hunk in the test ride, but after riding the Hunk the Dazzler felt tiny to me, both bikes are very similar and only looks set them apart and the gas suspension on the Hunk is way better, also i have seen the honda service when my friend gets his Unicorn serviced at the honda service centre, here in Bangalore its worse than your experience. I have completed 3500km and i am very much satisfied with the Herohonda service, no problems with my bike, at every service they clean everything from bike to air filter, also since no kick start they check the rectifier and battery, clean the contacts. Honda is has a lot of catching up to do.Read More

Hi, nice review. I have completed over 3500km and finished 2 free services, but i never have come across any such handle shaking like you mentioned, even at 95kmph the bike runs smooth without a sweat and no vibrations. I have come across many reviews but this is the 1st time i am hearing about this... problem with handle. Since your bike fell couple of times may be something got damaged or went wrong when it fell. Tell the service center guy to inspect the bike. And dont worry, the gears will get smooth.Read More

hi Giver99, Go for the Hunk because -Pulsars are not reliable and engine gets unresponsive within 2 years, if you dont believe me then ride a 2 year old pulsar and a brand new pulsar, you ll notice the difference, but with herohonda even after 10 years bike will be responsive. - Unicorn is a good ...150cc bike, but its not the guy material, its more of the uncle kind of family bike, seating is upright like a chair. No digital console. where as the Hunk has a sporty seating posture with rear set foot pegs and yet its very comfortable and in fact the best seat and posture for long rides. And the new Hunk also has a great digital console and rear disc brakes.Read More

You are damn right bro, Herohondas are the best no matter how many bajajs are on the road. A Bajaj bike owner will regret after 2 years for going with Bajaj where as Herohondas will last for a lifetime. My uncle's 20 year old CD-100 still runs fine without any major problems.

45kmpl ! thats too less for a 100cc bike. till you notch up 2500km you are not supposed to cross 50kmph speed, the engine has to get seasoned. My 3 month old Hunk gives me 55kmpl mileage. Approach your Herohonda service center and tell him that your mileage is only 40kmpl.

Hi, may be i am commenting a bit too late, but the solution for skidding is to apply both front and rear brakes simultaneously. This point is given in every bike's manual.

Hi Amit, I have compared the Hunk and the Dazzler in my review, but i didn't mention about the mileage comparison because both give the same mileage. my 3 month old Hunk gives a mileage of 53-55kmpl and even a dazzler gives the same because both have the same unicorn engine but tuned for a little di...fferent power, Hunk 14.4 ps and Dazzler 13.8 ps. Hunk has a awesome mid range torque. When i test rode the Dazzler i felt like i was riding the Honda CB Twister, but the Hunk gave me the BIG BIKE feel and i felt like the king of the road when every one just keeps staring at my bike.Read More

Hey guys, hunk is just a awesome bike, in fact the best 150 in looks, performance, features and quality, yet why do people underestimate it ? I am very happy and satisfied with my hunk. When i told my friends that i booked a Herohonda hunk, they were like ''why did you go for hunk?, you should have ...taken Pulsar, Apache or Fz 16''.Read More

nope, i never faced any such problem with the footrest and brake. I guess its a problem particular with your Hunk, If you still have the problem then take your bike to the service center, they ll fix it.

Thank you, and hey in today's IPL match i saw Herohonda HUNK on display in the stadium. It seems in every IPL match the Hunk will be showcased in the stadium just like the ZMR was showcased during the Worldcup. Also you can see HUNK name displayed on the boundary ropes, side boards and the ads on th...e field beside the pitch.Read More

29k for your 2004 passion, awesome. See this is why Herohonda rocks, the quality of bikes they produce is impeccable. Where as a 2005 model pulsar 150 would not go for even 15k.

Thank you, but there is one thing which i don't understand, the new Hunk was released quietly and even now there are people who are not aware of the new hunk and still think pulsars are awesome because they don't use the internet much to get the information, So why is Herohonda not using proper adve...rtising, i mean like TV ads or newspaper ads that ll make people aware of the bike. Herohonda is still using TV ads for ZMR, CBZ extreme, passion pro, NXG and many more bikes, so why not for the New HUNK.Read More

Hi drjebin, I agree with your argument. But look at it this way, the price of the new Hunk is 80000 Rs, and suppose hero Honda Adds a PGMFI and then the cost would become say 90000 or 95000. People will not be ready to spent that much for a 150cc bike. Take for example the new Honda Stunner Pgmfi, t...he normal carb one is selling like hot cakes at 60000rs (Stunner is a 125cc bike as you know) but the cost of the Pgmfi verison is 76000!!!!! for a 125cc bike, you hardly see them on the road. So a fuel injection in lower cc bikes makes not much sense to the common man, where as FI in the Karizma ZMR priced at 1.15lakhs people will be ready to pay because its for a 225cc bike.Read More

Fake review. Herohonda bikes are the best, reliable and maintenance free bikes, my uncle's 20 year old CD-100 still runs smooth and no major problems yet. From your review i can infer that you bought a 150cc bike just before the hunk was released and you are jealous that you couldn't get your hand o...n the hunk.Read More

In December 2010 my dad agreed to buy me a bike (not more power than 150cc he said). So I started analyzing various bikes, I never considered the Pulsars and apaches. 3 bikes I had zeroed down to were Hunk, Dazzler and FZ. I took the test ride of FZ and Dazzler, liked the FZ but mileage was a...Read more
