Very important thing I came to know after delivery of stunner in the first day itself, The beat of the engine was set to very high which causes heavy vibrations at even at very low speed and it's irritating to ride the bike. After setting the beat to low, i was surprised that the engine is soooo.......quiet and smooth. Again after service, I felt somebody was dragging the bike at the back while accelerating, I was very irritated this time that my bike is smooth before the service rather than after the service.Service people adjusted everything on the bike. The next day I adjusted beat to the lowest at the carburetor with my hand and found that its smoother than ever. If u have vibes at low speed or feeling that someone dragging the bike (any company), The beat setting may be higher or the brakes are tight. Set it to lowest while keeping the bike in idling. U can find a screw on the carburetor (on the right side, near the engine, under stunner logo put ur hand and u wil find a big nut hanging). Slightly turn it while the engine is ON in neutral and set to lowest such that the engine do not stop in idling.U may need screw driver for other bikes.Read More

Hi friends, i hope that my writings are helping you. I myself searched for the on road performance of the stunner but could not find any detailed experience on the net. My father had a kawasaki bajaj 4s champion(100cc) from 1996 and took the pulsar 150 DTS-i in 2006. I know how the 4s champion vibr...ates at 85kmph. I remember the numbness of my hands after a long ride even today. When i took stunner on NH 5 today, i went near 100kmph and realized that it has good power even after 70 kmph which i doubted all these days. While reaching 70kmph I got little vibration on the handle.(little but considerable). But the pulsar gives me very good experience when riding between 50kmph to 80. after which the sound changes to a new level but there are no vibrations in the vicinity. At low speeds below 60kmph I prefer the stunner because of Excellent low end torque and the pulsar managing the competition with its sound rather than acceleration. The handle bar of stunner fits perfectly into my hands where pulsar doesn't. Even at the top speed i felt the stunner is in my control which i do not feel that on my father's pulsar 150 dts-i after 80 kmph. The good thing on pulsar is the NITROX GAS RESERVOIR SUSPENSION.but it decreases look. The worst thing I fear on pulsar is it's front disc brake which stops the wheel (dead lock of wheel) even before the brake lever gets 20% of full depression.Even more to make worst things happen, pulsar has the whole weight concentrated on to front. If u touch front brake, u lose balance(most accidents are on pulsar these days, may be because of this feature). The pulsar became very OLD within two years.Everything needs replacement.Engine leaking oil, engine oil leaking, clutch plates gone, needs to move front or back to start engine, shock absorbers gone down. This is why some people say it's from bajaj. And stunner is from HONDA.Read More

I got a STUNNING 59.6 km/litre mileage for stunner................................ Comparison of unicorn and stunner: 1.Unicorn has got 150cc(13.3 bhp power) engine compared with 125cc (11 bhp) of stunner: A higher cc engine has the advantage of adequate power at high speed and high load con...ditions. 2.Unicorn is already proved with its performance, where stunner didn't and it's too early to judge it's performance right now as the stunner is becoming more smoother as it runs more distance. 3.Mono suspension of unicorn is better than stunner with two shock absorbers. 4.Except outer design, suspension and engine cc, both have the same chassis, swing arm, carburetor, and gearbox and near equal size of tyres . so ride quality should be same. But for me, I never felt bad of choosing stunner though i m capable of buying an 150cc bike.Stunner is the best one in the city with advantages of sporty look, mileage and less weight along with low weight of handle and i don't agree to compare it with any other 125cc bike. Unicorn performs better on the highway with high speed, high power and a bit lesser mileage because of 150cc engine when compared with stunner. I suggest unicorn than stunner at this point of time as every one (me too....) has NEW stunner and cannot say the top speed and behavior(doubt of vibration) at high speed. There is not much difference between both of them. If you feel comfortable with stunner than unicorn there's nothing wrong in choosing stunner. If you can provide your age, height, driving conditions(city/highway) and preferences for speed ,power and mileage and vehicle weight etc..., then its easy to decide which one to go for.... If u can wait for a month or so, the exact characteristics of stunner will be known for us and then choose any one of the two. Read More

yes..... l have only doubt about vibration at higher speed, I should also see that. Still the bike is in run-in period. After first service i will try it at 80+ kmph. But until then i can say the bike is smooth upto 60kmph.

The 125cc segment is growing in the bike market. Thats why the companies are interested in launching 125cc bikes which offer good power& fuel economy in the city riding conditions.........................

The R15 (150cc) looks great in design but it is much smaller in size than the stunner, and it comes at a price tag of 1 lakh which u can get two stunners for that price. moreover people who ride it experienced no difference in power than ordinary 150cc bike at the speeds below 60kmph. so, its except...ional only for RACERS. I DONT GO FOR A BIKE WITH 150CC AND HAS 1.1LACK PRICE for use of day to day life. Now the karizma , the stunner comes closer in looks with karizma (a bit mascular design). The karizma has got 225 cc engine which gives 30 km/litre mileage. The stunner got 125cc engine and higher power for that class and a mileage of 55 km/litre in city. Compare some bikes in its segment...........................then u will get the diffference. Read More

I have got my stunner (Red, self drum) on 27-8-2008. I m aged 21 and remember that I am not a Streetracer but just wanted a good looking bike with good acceleration, handling and reasonable mileage to drive in city of destiny(Vizag). I just completed 1400km. so far, happy and satisfied with the ...Read more
