Thanks for your comment Dharma. I agree with you when you say you cant compare Sachin's cricketing skills with anyone, because he is one of the best batsman ever. I wasn't trying to compare Sachin and Ganguly . Of course Sachin is a better batsman even if Ganguly has a better average. The averag...e of a person is not the whole story of the stats. If you look, Ganguly has a better average than Sachin. In one days the strike rate is also very important. Now if you look at Sachin's strike rate it's much better than Ganguly's. Sachin scores his runs much faster. What I was trying to point out was that Gangluy would be in any team in the world. Not many people having played so many games have a average over 40. Anybody who has a better average than Sachin is doing pretty good. Sachin sets the standards. About Badani and Dravid.
