Things are really starting to get edgy at Manchester United.
The biggest talking point is who is going to replace Sir Alex Ferguson. He has carried the responsibility for such a long time. Rumours are bouncing around that Man U will collapse when he leaves. This obviously is leaving supporters very nervous.
With Sir Alex leaving there are more reports that players might also leave after his departure. The biggest name to bounce around is David Beckham. If players do leave Man U’s young players aren’t good enough to cover and so Sir Alex is going outside to deepen his squad.
With more players coming in other players are feeling threatened. Last years surprise package Dwight Yorke looks like taking the elbow for Van Nistlerooy. Players are now looking for higher wages and first team assurances.
Since the team has done so well the fans expectations are going higher and higher, which is putting more pressure on the team.
Next season is the last for Sir Alex and he wants it to be a excellent farewell, but the danger lies the season after.
Will Man U be the same?
Only time will tell.......................
