how can shock come from the satellite. hardly some 1000th or even smaller part of a volt is received. the received signal is some micro or pico volt only. they are dam idiots of they are fooling u with all this non sense, Also u should check earthing in your house.

Customer ID: 3001062602 Even i used Airteh DTH SD. the STB got faulty after 1 year and they askd me to pay 500/- for repair. WORST PART ABOUT AIRTEL IS THAT THEY DONT HAVE SERVICE CENTRES IN MANY CITIES AND IN THESE AREAS THE DEALERS LOOT PEOPLE WITH HIGH INSTALLATION CHARGE, HIGH REPAIR CHARGE AND... AIRTEL HAS NO CONTROL OVER IT. i complained to public grievence cell of DOT which all of you should use. inke baap se inko danda padta hai ye tabhi kaam karte hain. YOU CAN CHECK MY COMPLAIN NUMBER DOTEL/E/2010/07480 ON BELOW WEBSITE. http://pgportal.gov.in/Grievance.aspx selct department of telecommunications that resulted in free replacement of STB with a repaired old STB once and refund of service outage time. After wards it again got faulty in 2 months. The customer service was as pathetic as always. They than said that there is no warranty and you will have to pay 500 again. & i got below mail this time Dear Mr. Pant, Thank you for writing to airtel digital TV. This is with reference to your e-mail regarding STB issue. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience faced by you. As per our telephonic conversation with you on 91-9729530415, STB replacement charges are Rs. 350 along with Rs. 100 engineer visit charges.
