@sjs09 It's true. We don't have any powercut issues in Pune but just for testing I switched off the main power plug of the dishwasher in middle of a cycle and then switched back on the power. The dishwash cycle didn't start from where it stopped. I turned power off at 1 hour n 30 mins left but on tu...rning on power, the cycle started from 2 hour 40 mins.Read More

@esamrat As per Samsung it needs high pressure water tap. Ours is connected to a high pressure tap but we had to get long extension pipe done by local plumber as our tap is a little far from the dishwasher. I think plumber should be able to help you convert a normal tap to high pressure one. Ask any... local plumber as Samsung don't help at all in these cases.Read More

@saragursridevi As per as I understand all dishwasher need salt for proper functioning. Salt can be bought separately as Finish938844 Salt packet or as a 3 in 1 Clean n Fresh tablet which has salt, detergent, n rinse aid all in all together. I have no idea about external water softener. I have never... used it. The dish washing quality is spotless but I suggest go through youtube videos to learn dishwasher loading. Those videos are very helpful. If dishwasher is not loaded properly it can't clean. My dishwasher is so far running just as new. No servicing/ repair needed. Neither any internal tray rusting breakage. I am very happy with the dishwasher.Read More

@saswati131971 I get the dishwasher salt, detergent, rinse aid from Auchan Pune. All products are mostly available all he time but I still like to buy n keep these much in advance before I run out of it. I think some salt, detergent, rinse aid, tablet etc is probably also available online but I have... never bought it online.Read More

@CCPD I didn't really encounter the same problem as we don't have daily powercut. We get powercut only on Thursdays n I don't run dishwasher during that time. But I think it should be the same for all machines. As per maid vs machine is concerned, I think it is based on personal preference. The ...monthly cost of running dishwasher is similar or a bit high than maid minus dishwasher price. But it all depends only personal need/preference.Read More

@muke448 Sorry I have no idea abt it because where I live powercut doesn't happen on a regular basis. It only happen on thursdays from 10-11am to 4-5pm, So obviously I don't run my dishwasher during that time. But I think it should be same for every machine.

@iliketoshop The salt, detergent, and rinse aid are easily available at Auchan (Spar) hypermarket. But I always keep extra packs with me at home in advance. I am using Finish938844 and Clean & Fresh products. Finish938844 detergent 1kg cost about 300-350, Rinse Aid cost abt 300-350, and Salt (2kg) c...ost abt 200-300. All the Finish938844 products go a long time. Finish938844 detergent 1 kg will last probably 3-4 months, same with rinse aid. Salt 2kg will last 7-8 months. Clean & Fresh comes in 3-1 tablets which cost abt 650 per box(30 tablet) which last me 2 months. I have so far had no problems with the dishwasher, nothing needed to be replaced. Never needed a technician. Wash quality is very good.Read More

@nathsanjay The dishwasher racks are made of probably some metal coated with water resistant grey paint. The inside body is made of stainless steel. There has been no rusting or any damage inside after one year of use. It is just as same as it first arrived. I am using it 3-4 times per week and w...ashing result as just as good.Read More

@Priyanka2014 Hi, I have no idea about built in dishwasher. But in abroad, the dishwasher we were using was a free standing one but placed under kitchen counter. The kitchen counter was of higher height than normal indian kitchen counter. But I had no problem in working in that kitchen counter at al...l. I read in some reviews, that a free standing dishwasher can be placed under kitchen counter by removing the top cover but I am not sure, as my dishwasher is placed normally.Read More

@jesruj Hi, I had to replace my aluminium handi and pressure cooker with stainless steel. Because initially the aluminium cookwares would get clean but later started leeching aluminium horribly. I replaced aluminium handi with Prestige Prima stainless steel kadai. Because of the shape of the Prestig...e Prima, rice can be cooked and rinsed without trouble. I replaced my prestige pressure cooker with Hawkins Futura stainless steel pressure cooker. Non stick has no problem. So far all my non stick kadai's/ frying pans/ tawa are intact. I don't know abt hard annodised for sure, as I don't have any hard annodised cookware, but I think it can't be cleaned in dishwasher. Clean n Fresh also sometime left soapy residue on my utensils. For that same reason, I started breaking the tablet in half and using it. That way no soapy residue anymore. One more thing I face is, sometimes soapy residue due to wrong loading technique. In samsung, in front of the soap counter there's place for loading small plates, but I load taller handi/kadai there, and so the water somehow don't get circulated properly and leaves soapy residue. For that, after 20-25 mins of wash cycle, I open the dishwasher and scatter the excess soap with my finger. So no more soapy residue. So far opening the dishwasher in middle of cycle hasn't created any problem for me. When I open the dishwasher in middle of wash cycle, it automatically stops somehow like how top load washing machine stops if flap is raised in mid cycle but resumes once the door closed. I am currently using Finish detergent, salt, and rinse aid separately. Same soapy residue problem is there with Finish detergent but using less soap and with proper loading technique it has no issues. Hope that helps. :)Read More

@rajhydro congrats. I would suggest getting dishwasher salt, detergent/tablet, and rinse aid in advance before running out. For example, I have been buying a dishwasher tablet called 'Clean n Fresh' from Auchan/Spar for Rs600 per box which last me 2 months or more. But now in Auchan that product is ...out of stock and they have got Finish tablet which is costlier. I still have one month of dishwasher tablet and hoping by that time Auchan re stock Clean n Fresh tablets.Read More

@ashvinnani 1.Dishwasher can clean non stick and stainless steel cookwares, kadhai, handi, pressure cooker, tawa etc. But cast iron and aluminium vessels can't be cleaned. Aluminium although gets clean in dishwasher but leaves discolouring spots on it, leaving it looking ugly. 2.Dishwasher can cl...ean non stick cokwares, stainless steel cookware and utensils, glass, ceramic, vitrelle glass (corelle), plastic, borosilicate glass (borosil) , Luminarc jugs , containers very well. It also cleans fridge trays, veg basket, microwave trays etc. 3.Yes, it do clean milk pots. Both stainless steel n borosil pots. But it do need a bit of basic scrubbing to remove sticky residue. For other utensils n cookwares, no pre-scrubbing needed. But for milk pots only a slight scrubbing needed.Read More

@vijayarora Whoever from Samsung must have said any dishwasher can't clean stainless steel utensils must be nuts. As per my experience, dishwasher handles stainless steel, ceramic, glass, plastic extremely well. Even the most basic dishwashers can clean stainless steel very very well. I can say my e...xperience of Samsung customer care has been pretty bad in respect to giving any details related to dishwasher. I enquired abt pipeline before delivery of dishwasher and they couldn't say anything either. I don't know which Baner store you visited, but when I bought it, I visited few Samsung shops and none carried this dishwasher. Only Croma Aundh had it. Rather on my enquiry about it, Samsung customer care gave me number of some IFB service man and he wanted to sell me an IFB dishwasher.Read More
