I bought this dishwasher on 28th October 13 from Croma Aundh, Pune. At the time of purchase the delivery time given was 7th November but finally it arrived on 23rd November after many calls to Croma customer care and store visits. The dishwasher is pretty good. Washes dishes really well. Most importantly it is very silent. I chose this dishwasher over Siemens n Bosch mainly because it got 3 washer arm.

Buying this was pretty challenging as it was not available widely in Pune. Samsung customer care didn't help at all. They could not direct me where I can buy it and I found myself after many many calls to various shops like Ezone, Reliance Digital, Croma etc that only in Croma Aundh it was available n no where else. I live pretty far from Aundh so after buying, the many store visits just to ensure delivery was also frustrating. Croma customer care wouldn't help much.

Positives of Samsung Dishwasher are:

1. Washes dishes very well. Including oily cooking pots n pans. Rubber or plastic lids of containers don't get disfigured from heat either.

   
   




2. It has 3 washer arms which ensures better cleaning.

   
   




3. Stainless steel tub makes the dishwasher very silent. I load the dishwasher at night after dinner n it never disturbs sleep. It is hardly audible.

   
   




4. Digital display which shows how much time left to complete wash cycle. I have so far only used ECO wash cycle which takes about 3 hours. AUTO wash cycle also takes about 3 hours but I have never used it. There is a wash cycle for delicate glassware which I intend to use but haven't till now. Half load only reduces about 20 mins time from full wash cycle.

   
   

Negatives:

1. Samsung customer care couldn't tell me from where I can buy it in Pune.

   
   




2. I got the pipeline ready for dishwasher but asked the plumber not to attach the inlet pipe to the water line as I assumed installation/service person will attach it. But the service man asked me why I didn't get it attached by plumber and said me "they don't do plumbing work". The fact is I got every plumbing work done and all he was supposed to do was attach the inlet pipe which he did in 2 mins.

   
   




3. Croma Aundh delayed the delivery and we had to take several trips to the shop. Customer care would say that they will arrange call back but mostly nobody called back.

   
   

Dishwasher Salt, Detergent, Tablet, Rinse Aid:

Luckily I got all three salt, tablet, rinse aid at Auchan/Spar Pune. I got Finish Salt 2kg pack, Clean n Fresh tablet, and Finish Rinse Aid.

The Clean n Fresh dishwasher tablet says 5 in 1 and that it got both salt and rinse aid in it but I still use both salt and rinse aid separately. Finish tablets were also available but I didn't get it as it was much costlier than Clean n Fresh tablets. The wash quality is very good. So far I have never had any residue on crockery.

Wash quality is directly related to how the dishwasher is loaded. I have learnt loading dishwasher from youtube videos. Watch many videos to learn. Do not overload it.

Conclusion:

Great dishwasher. We paid Rs.31000 for it. I am really happy with it.

UPDATE 22/7/2015:

I am using this Samsung Dishwasher for 1 year and 8 months now. So far I have not encountered any problem. Cleaning is perfect and the dishwasher is just as new. None of my utensils cracked, bent, discoloured, damaged in the dishwasher.

A problem which some of the users encountered is the memory of the dishwasher is faulty. If at any time during wash cycle the power goes off, then on resuming power, the wash cycle don't resume from where it stopped. Rather it begins from much earlier point. To test this problem, I switched off the power in mid of a wash cycle and it is the same for my dishwasher too. We don't have much power problem in Pune so I never had any problem with faulty memory but those who have power outage issues might consider this point.

Utensils: Utensils made up of glass, ceramic, stainless steel, plastic, rubber, non stick coated cookware, cleans perfectly without any issue. Oil, grease, milk residue gets sparkling clean. But utensils made up of(outer body) aluminium, hard anodized, iron needs to be avoided. Aluminium utensil discolours, iron rusts.

Salt, Detergent, RInse Aid: I am using Finish Salt. I fill up the salt counter to the full once in every 4-5 months now. Cleaning quality becomes poor if salt is not added. I have never had this problem ever. I check the salt counter every 4-5 month and fill it. One 2 kg Salt last me 1 year or more. I use Finish detergent or Clean & Fresh tablets. One box of 30 Clean & Fresh tablets last me 2.5 to 3 months. I often break a tablet into half n use it. I use Finish Rinse Aid. One bottle lasts me 5-6 months.

Price of Finish Salt 2 Kg is Rs 400. Price of Clean & Fresh 30 tablet box is Rs 650. All the products are available at SPAR(Auchan) Hypermarket.

Overall, my experience with this Samsung Dishwasher is very positive. Cleaning is great. Utensil comes out spotless n dry after the Eco cycle. I mostly use either Eco cycle(2 hours 55 mins) or Glass cycle(occasionally, 1 hour 50 mins). There's also a Quick cycle of 35 mins. Cleaning is fine in that cycle too but utensils don't dry n it is meant for plates, cups, not cookwares. Though cookware cleans fine in that cycle too if not very greasy.
