hello rajul,
as i have mentioned in my comments above, i continued with my package and not let the sales people's attitude to affect the vacation investment.
Now, in March 2013, I did travel to their resort at Coorg and am glad that I did not insist on cancelling my membership. The Kodagu Vall...ey Resort, Coorg is a fantastic location. The treatment is immaculate, be it the rooms, restaurants, entertainment within the resort, arrangements for travel OR facilitating your sight seeing, they exeeded all the expectations I might have had from them.
I will only advice them to fix the problems in the sales team so that people do not have issues while taking up the membership. I really did not use their film tickets OR discount coupens to purchase stuff. The only thing that mattered was the vacation days, which I did use. Even reservation for the resort is a transparent process which they encourage us to do online.
So but for the initial, Sales people experience, Club Mahindra is superb.Read More

Guys... an update... after putting in some thought and taking the bad experience in stride, with the hope that possibly atleast the holidaying experience will be better, I decided to stick on with the membership.
Ofcourse, would like to add, none of the free gift they offer are worth it to anyo...ne who can afford to buy a package like this. I never used any of their free gift.

On 7th July 2012, since I have started getting a feeling of regret for taking up this membership, I called up Club Mahindra and asked them to close d...own my membership. Arun, the person who attended me over phone confirmed that my request has been placed. On Sunday I got a call from Ekta, asking me the reason for closing down the membership before I have even experienced holidays with them. I ofcourse, told her of the reasons and she told me she will be getting back to me in two days time. On 10th I thought of calling them up and checking if my membership has been closed. I was told the matter is with the complants department and they will be getting in touch with me. On 11th of July, Ekta calls me up again and stated that she will be asking Sachin and Vidhata to get in touch with me and discuss out the issue. When I told her there is no point in my discussing with Sachin and Vidhata, she got upset and said ''Then send your request to close the membership in writing''. Keep in mind on 7th July I have already placed a request but never the less, I have put a mail stating for my membership to be closed.
