You have to drive within 40 - 45 kmph in first 2000 KMS. After 2 service you can start speeding. Any new vehicle will start vibrating in higher speed within 2k KMS.

Dear Ajay1947, You have a very prejudice on bajaj bikes, Iam using my Bajaj Boxer for the past 10 Years and even today the mileage is 65+ and pickup is owesome. In busy Bangalore traffice I take over even pulsors(not in highways). You are true that we should maintain the bike properly. But rememb...er its true for all brands of bike, not just for bajaj. Do not say that after one year Bajaj Bikes are of no use. Iam the living example and there are many in this country who buy my openion. Coming to resell value, you should note that even today when I approached Suzuki Showroom to check the exchange prize for my bike he offered 12k. But when one of my friend who bought splendor along with me 10 years back got the offer of 10k. So how can you say Resell value depends on Brand like HH. And idea of buying a bike just to get a better resell value is wrong. You should buy a bike to get satisfied in all respect i.e. mileage, pickup and durability. Read More
