I'd place your experience as one-off case of such a rude behavior (no, I am not defending the bank). I know two of my friends who had borrowed from the bank, and their experience has been good.
Even I have been a customer of IDBI an year back. My experience with the institution has been very good, ...least to say. My loan was sanctioned within 8-9 days. There was no difference in their behavior during pre and post sales. When I prepaid my loan, it took 30 minutes to do that, and 15 days to receive all original papers lying with them. In fact, I am planning to buy a new house, and thinking of going back to them.Read More
