I am not sure what your reliable sources are. But this is not in testing phase in our area. If you have used the datacard you will notice 3 choices. Pro , Netconnect and Hybrid. They ask you to select Pro when you are in CHENNAI (not in any particular area in chennai) and while roaming outside Chenn...ai you have to select Hybrid to get 1mbps speed min they said. This is from Reliance customer care support. Even with Pro3 selected you get 0.9 to 1 mbps only. They should advise users atleast that they are in testing phase.Read More
