hey that reminded me of the camping trip we went on the fourth of july this year. decided on 3rd night that we have to go camping, found a primitive site which meant 'natural toilet', had to squish 8 of ourselves in a tent meant for 6 and had to endure the hard terrain rocks and pebbles included! pl...us one of the guys started snoring so loud that we thought the Grizzly was camping with us. But all was worth it cozx next day we went horseback riding and that was so much fun. cheers!Read More

hey mayank, i have read the book and my thoughts echo yours on this one. about the politics in India, well we can all crib and cry, but until we do something about it, the system is not gonna change overnight. look at how many educated, broadminded youngsters are in politics today....a handful a...t best. and that's one reason we have not made much progress. it's all good to cry and bemoan the state of affairs but unless someone takes that first step towards setting the ball in motion, it's gonna continue, isnt it? unfortunately for the poor and illiterate whose votes are bought off with a bottle of toddy. you are right, as long as people are lapping it up, producers have a cheap alternative to quality programming. elimidate, oh gosh, i watched a couple of episodes, died laughing at the comical hot tub scenes! Thanks for dropping by. Cheers!

tiramisu, slurp! jog my memory on this place....it looks like mumbai's prithvi cafe and it's somewhere in chennai, where i had the most delectable tiramisu! for the life of me, cannot recollect the name of this place, they have a branch in Hyd too. it has an outdoor dessert place (complete with newa...ge paintings and murals) attached to the main restaurant. Help! Sweet review, corny comment i know! three cheers!Read More

yeah indian idol was one show that i watched and it was disturbing coz the producers chose to follow the same logic, bring in hysterical parents and stage a show for ratings! that was pathetic! although star world shows bachelor and some other shows, i seriously hope they dont remake any of the othe...r dating show nonsense! Thanks for dropping by. Cheers!Read More

thanks for rrcing. yeah mindless cloning is even more dangerous. we need to stop and think if a show makes sense. just because it's a hit, there's no need to reproduce it. Cheers!

It’s time to pull the plug on this one -  reality TV has gone way too far, consumed way too much time on the telly, wasted far too many resources and corroded too many brains than the worst of scripted television put together.
