Figo diesel variant is excellent car, just drive it and enjoy. My figo completed 65,000 km mark and until now no big issues. Just give it for servicing at every 10,000 km and drive it happily.

My Figo diesel has completed more than 65,000 km, till now no issues only have done regular servicing which costed around Rs 5000 Rs on an average for all services. I use it daily office commute and once in while long trips to near by places. Fully satisfied with the car.

Good review kanishkster. My Figo TDCI 1.4 have already crossed 40,000 KM. Not a single problem till now. Just enjoy your new car. The engine will deliver what ever the circumstances. Recently I have been to wayanand(kerala) from Hyderabad and covered Kuruva island, chambra peak, Trinunally temple ...and also Banasura island which are all almost off-roads driving for about 3-4 km's. The car just performed outstanding well all the trip.Read More

In the market right now, this is the best vehicle. People just will have a choice between swift and figo, and finally with all goodies figo wins. The mileage right now i'm getting is 19-20 kmpl in the city.

For headlights get fog lamps fitted at ford service center, the drive will be great no problems with visibility. For GC, use 36 PSI front & 40 rare, for 2 persons it will never be a problem. For 5 person's you just need to go slow. Also who said other cars doesn't have GC problems, for example sw...ift, santro , honda city and even Innova with fully loaded always there was a GC problem. It's just that people don't admit it and buy Maruti cars like sheeps without really understanding what they really get and does it make them feel proud off. My friend's Swift just 10k just doesn't appeal to be a new car. The interiors are too boring. Some of the best diesel engine cars in markets right now are FIAT punto, Fabia, VM Polo, Figo (very VMF). But people don't just change their minds.Read More

You can happily drive it, no non-sense car. I have completed 35,000 KM and still i don't get bored anytime. The interiors are non-dusty and still look very clean and new. Driven almost to all the places now, hills, highways, bad roads ... can read my reviews on this car. Getting constantly around 20...kmpl in the city. Just go Fida.Read More

Go for 1.4 diesel, you will love it with pickup, mileage, features etc. ABS & Airbags are for your safety and it gives lot of confidence when your are applying brakes especially on highways.

Considering petrol with low speed pickup without changing much gears for city driving, i think also considering the cost of the fuel, you need to start looking into Santro, I10 , Swift then Figo. My previous vehicle was Santo and it was a excellent car for city driving. Even in 3rd car you can picku...p the vehicle from 20kmph, no tension at all. i have upgraded to Figo diesel because of only one reason, i have drive daily for around 60km and i need a decent fuel economy car with lot of comfort, this was well taken care in Figo diesel.Read More

Buy only diesel 1.4 version. You need to buy extra alloy wheels and i think Teambhp will recommend what size etc, otherwise its problem with ground clearance with very sharp speed beakers which we generally see on highway built by local villagers. For city as well as highway driving its great no iss...ues there and will get mileage above 16-17 km per liter. The hatchback is very good value for money, you get what you have paid for. Till now i have driven my 1.4 FIgo for 4500 KMs till now no issues at all, off course while driving over speed brakes i'm very carful driving until i get my 14-15 size alloy wheels.Read More

Guys, I still feel if you want for buy petrol vehicle then Santro is the best for city driving and once in a while highway driving. Santro gives 13-14 mileage in city and 16-17 on highways. I had Santro and brought Figo diesel. I felt if really i have buy a petrol vehicle then spending huge money on... Swift, Beat , i10 , i20 etc are all waste. Santro is spacious and excellent for city driving with 3rd gear picking up the vehicle from 20 kmph which was real beauty. If you want to buy diesel then you can Start comparing Figo and Swift and can finally decide yourself.Read More

I suggest if any one wants to but petrol cars, then simple go for Santro. Santro is still best vehicle for city driven, when compared in pricing , power, space and features. Its price is far less than Swift, Beat petrol cars so i don't see any reason why we need to spend more money.

I own Figo 1.4 diesel and completed 4000 KM, till now no rattling sound at all. The diesel engine sound is well insulated from inside and you will not really get disturbed with that. Pickup with A/C i have a point to suggest, i have observed that whenever we start the engine we need to keep the car ...ideal for at least 20-30 seconds for Turbo charger to get its optimum, then you may not observe much difference with pickup when A/C is on or off. And also if you compare the same turbo charger in Swift, you will find the turbo lag because the turbo charger will work when you try to accelerate. So, by this design for both the cars, i don’t see turbo lag in Figo, but a killer in Swift even in new K-Series engines.Read More

I have Ford Figo 1.4 diesel, driven for 3500 Km, Till now no problem at all, with respect to ground clearance or vehicle swifting to left or right. Most of the diesel owners are getting mileage around 16-17 in city and 19-20 on Highways which is great before even few services. The diesel engine tend... to become smooth after 1st & 2nd services which I'm already experiencing after 1st service. Ford Figo 1.4 even though being a diesel engine is good for city bumper to bumper driving because there is no turbo lag and also it has great power in lower 1st and 2nd gear for slow moving traffic for speed around 10-20 kmph. When compared to swift, swift diesel is not really good for city driving as you will find turbo lag where when you try to accelerates it takes some 2 secs to actually put in the turbo in and then move forward, this most of the time is not suitable for city driving. Figo diesel is not for people who wants to just accelerate fast, it's for people who have patience in driving and extract most of the mileage from it with lots of comfort and technology.Read More

Congrats on your first car. I brought Figo 1.4 titanium and drove about 3000KM, and the vehicle just rocks. May be initially you may find difficult to understand and drive diesel engine, the gear ratios etc, but that feeling will be gone once you drive it more. Go for a long drive and you will see t...he difference in comfort, stability and smoothness of the vehicle. The smoothness increases after 1st service. The first service was for 2500KM and I have paid about Rs 1800 including VAT. The service charges are free for 1st and 2nd service. The next service is around 10000KM and after that every 10000KM.Read More

Listen to your heart and go for Figo 1.4 diesel. It's more practically vehicle than Swift and you will definitely feel pleasure in driving. And also don't sacrifice your comfort as well as your family member's by just thinking of resale. Okay, coming to resale value after 5 years, Swift and Figo... will be prices around 3 to 4 lakhs, so which one would people buy. I see that Figo has lot of practical features like bluetooth phone connectivity, CD/Mp3 player, Ipod Connectivity, 18 intermediate wiper speed, 4 level high beam adjustment, lot of bootspace, leg space, chilling A/C inside, very good stock absorbers, and importantly TDCI ford fiesta engine which is already known to hit 2 lakh km easily without any engine problems. Maruthi Swift is already outdated, so after 5 years how is going to buy it, with soo many vehicles to choose, there should be at least one feel good factor apart from thinking as a driver's vehicles.Read More

First Review (1000 km): ========== Took almost a month to decide which vehicle will be best for me, Did a test drive of swift, i20, Ritz & swift dezire. My wife and family members liked Figo compared to other cars, and for me the decison was based on the specs and comfort as i’m going to drive ...it for almost all the time. The decision was tough for choosing a hatchback car, but finally i think everyone will only compare Figo with Swift. Figo is lot more comfortable than swift with lot of leg space and drive smoothness, engine wise i think both are equally good. Ford Figo comes with ford fiesta’s 1.4 engine which was known for it’s long run owner’s delight. So, finally I booked my Diamond white ford figo 1.4 diesel on April 28th and got it delivered on May 26th. Color: Diamond white & black are looking soo good, rest of the colors are really not making impression some how. Mileage: I drive daily around 34 km in city. Got around 15.5 with A/C on/off at level 1 whenever required. Did a long drive last week for around 420 km and got around 19.5 with level 2 A/C on at all the time, as the day was very hot and the vehicle was fully loaded with 4 adults and 3 kids, the level 2 A/C will be good enough for most of the time. For city driving and going single all the time i think level 1 A/C is more than enough and also you can on/off as required to save some fuel. Drive & Gear ratio: The drive is very very smooth. The spine and lower back support is very good for long drives. Power steering is really very good and effort less The lower gears 2 & 3 has lot of power, but at the same time we may also feel sometime that they lack power. My previous car was Santro which being a petrol has lot of power at 3 & 2 gaer. For city driving Santro is best suited as at 3rd gear we can pull the vehicle from 20 km/h. Coming back to Figo one has to really understand how diesel engine torque’s work. The torque is provided at certain rpm’s that once the vehicle reaches thRead More
