''I have seen a human pyramid before. It was very unnecessary''. If you didn't find this funny, this CD is not for you. Mitch Hedberg is unlike any other standup comedian in the circuit. His stage persona, his material and his delivery is so refreshingly laid back and funny that I would place...Read more

After carefully reading all your comments again, this is what I have to say: 1. The crux of my review is about one song and why I think it is Metallica's greatest work as an artist. Incidentally, it also contains a few laudatory remarks about the band. In your comments, outside of a list of songs... and artists, and some personal claims, I don't see a coherent argument leading anywhere. 2. Can you explain why I or anyone else would have to be insane to regard Slash as a great guitarist? Even without knowing anything about your guitar skills, I can say with confidence that you can't be good enough to be making slight of Kirk and Slash's talents. 3. If it bothers you so much that I think Metallica is the epitome of metal, Why don't you write a critical analysis about why they aren't? Even better, why don't you review Metal Music in general instead of simply quoting a few albums/songs and maybe 'metal us up' 4. Or is it my passionate reverence for one song that you cannot tolerate, quite simply because maybe you are incapable of such appreciation? 5. Too many assumptions and disparaging remarks in your statements characteristic of immaturity and glorious illusions about the self. Btw, I play the guitar and I know what I am talking about. 6. 'Suck it up' was meant in the context of 'bite the bullet' or 'live with it'. It wasn't meant to offend you. On the other hand, the reference to your mom was meant to be sarcastic. AND, IF YOU ARE GOING TO ADDRESS ME AS 'KID' ONE MORE TIME, BE MAN ENOUGH TO DECLARE YOUR IDENTITY. YOU ALREADY KNOW WHERE TO FIND ME. LET ME SEE IF YOU HAVE THE BALLS TO TELL ME WHERE TO FIND YOU. WE'LL TAKE IT FROM THERE.Read More

Dude, You have googled quite well. I am impressed :-) I am familiar with the works of more than half the quitarists that you are talking about but I still place Slash and Kirk at the top of my list. If you have a problem with that, Suck it up! Yes, The Unforgiven II is the greatest ballad ...ever composed and I honestly don't care a damn if you lack the sense to see it. Don't bother responding cause I am no longer going to humour your ranting. And, tell your mom that I am disappointed. -Krishna Read More

I just saw the movie and after seeing the reviews here, I realized that I don't have much to add for a separate review. Both Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet are outstanding actors and the most remarkable thing is that both of them have stepped outside their overwhelming star powers and grew into the... characters. An invisible thread joining the little boy Peter's reality and Barrie's fantasy is outstandingly captured. Never before have I seen such a subtle depiction of a bond between a man and woman. Kudos to the director. I would love to see them both take home Oscars this year. And btw, 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind' is a must watch. I might write a piece about it someday. -KrishnaRead More

Dude, Spewing out a few band names and raising your tone doesn't substantiate your arguement much. Again, you are still stating your opinions. Hence I don't feel the need to defend mine and I am quite certain I'll never have to eat it! Iron Maiden, I can understand but please... Slayer Suck...s!!! And from the little that I have heard of Judas Priest, I have even lesser to say about them. Did it ever occur to you that maybe, I am saying just maybe, you aren't quite the metal expert that you might somehow have deluded yourself into believeing??? You can scream out in a public forum but do you have it in you to engage in a serious intelligent conversation over emails and not be ashamed about yourself? I'll be waiting, either way! Thanks a lot for your enthusiastic response. I unfortunately haven't read the book fearing the possibility of the book being better... but thanks Guru for the info. It has been promptly uploaded in my database:-) Balagi, you are right. Good Will Hunting is different but if you remove the surfa...ce layers and look inside, especially the character of Robin Williams and the changes that he initiates in Matt Damon, a parallel can be drawn, though with a wide gorge in between. Thanks Achilles, Though I fully agree with you w.r.t the origin of the phrase, in my opinion, the CNN is simply a marketing mouthpiece of the current administration and I wouldn't even remember it today had they not flashed this slogan as their key caption during the coverage :-). I read your ...review and you seem to have taken an objective stand. It was very detailed and coherent. I enjoyed it. However, I would still claim that Michael Moore is justified in tilting his presentation merely to balance the pan.
