Telling only about start up is for a lame desktop user..other then start up next to it there is a services section..i think also if u know we can remove many things esp if ur having norton anti virus this occupies a lot of ram..There are my sevices of symantec corp which can be removed....some ser...vice microsoft also(like if it is just a home conncted pc..then network services can be removed another one is error reporting service which is of no much use ).....
