Nobody wants to take a new car to the workshop to fix something and that's why dealers have a system called PDI, in which they will sort out these kinda issues before the vehicle is handed to the customer. The position of the wiper blades can be adjusted n lads in the workshop wont take more than 5 minutes to fix it.. that's no bother at all.. In this price tag its real value for money.. BTW did you mean ergonomics by AGRONOMY!!

The fuel efficiency figure you are getting is not bad in city traffic. The best I got was 18kmpl overall on highway drive to chennai. Trouble free so far and the service very cheap. Mine is clocked 50K plus and still going strong. I am not using this car since I am abroad but my family. Still t...he car is on demand. Got offers upto 2.10L for my 2001Vxi from True Value. Handling can be improved by upsizing your tyres.

I wouldnt say thats gonna happen in the next couple of years atleast. The normal life cycle of a toyota model would range from 3-5 years normally. Having said that this particular model is introduced globally by the end of last year, they wouldnt consider another all-new model in the near future, yo...u can expect some cosmetic changes in the existing model though. They have also brought down the prices of the parts by localisation. Congrats on making the right decision...

The old Accent is already withdrawn from the international market and is replaced by the so called Verna. Baleno Lxi is a great car and is real value for money..

For your information intercooler doesnt play any role in your vehicle’s cooling system. While the turbo unit compresses the air intake of the engine which will make the firing more effective, the intercooler cools this compressed air which eventually helps in towards more efficient burning of the ai...r-fuel mixture. The scientific reason being, cooled air contains more oxygen molecules, which means more burning power. And by the way turbo is not only for diesel engines but also applicable to petrol engines. Check out the engines of Volkswagen GTis, BMW 5 series etc. Also it’s a factor called torque, that determines the frequency of gearshifts. If your car engine has a good low end torque, that will eliminate the hassle of frequent gear changes. Diesel powered engines have more low-end torque than petrol engines and that’s the reason why trucks and buses still run in diesel even in countries where the price difference between these fuels are only marginal. But as far as acceleration and performance factors are concerned, gasoline engines are the best. Hope you will change these mistakes in your review.

As you said the gear box is not as smooth as the hondas.. mine was a 2003 model and the gearbox was a bit stiff and notchy during the initial days but during the first service they adjusted the clutch and that solved the problem.. Fiero was the one which was available on those days with a butter smo...oth gearshift.. Good work anyways.. Keep writin'..

Bought this camera two months ago. As you said it really needs some time to understand the features. I took the pictures in the auto mode since I couldnt get time to go through the instruction manual. Though the pictures look fabulous in the computer screen, the prints are slightly darker. Congrats for making a good buy. I have driven this model several times but to be honest I dont see any possibility to get the kind of mileage you get unless its a hybrid!!

Verdict
So is this vehicle a worth buy? Well the review is actually based on the corollas which were selling in the first half of 2004 and I am purely unaware of the further developments of this product over there. Anyway the brake problem was rectified by incorporating ABS. Apart from that, I ha...rdly find any serious issues with this product. Absolutely trouble free. The services are scheduled only on 10K intervals. They are not that dear as well. All they do in a 10K service is the replacement of oil and filters. Try to do that correctly, it hardly gives any trouble for it is built to last. Even in European countries where Mercs, SAABs, Volvos and Beemers rule, Toyota manages to maintain a good reputation and goodwill. They command a very good resale value in almost all countries they sell. These are some of the reasons why the customers around the world says with pride that they drive a Toyota automobile. This is one brand name that you can use as another word for automobile, the name which is even familiar for a five year old kid..'TOYOTA'.

Undoubtedly well written review. I really donno how many times I have seen this movie. Its an ever time hit. But for your kind information 'Vaan Mekham' number is not there in this movie. I liked the way in which you related things. This made the review interesting eventhough it is quite big in length. The old european fiesta doesnt have the flair of our Indian Ikon.
